We are looking for wedding/marriage oriented poetry. We are slowly working towards an album that will have music that can be sung at weddings, romantic events such as anniversaries or engagements etc.
GUIDELINES:
- Think in terms of what would sound “singable.” This is not a rule but a guideline, but to have a better chance of winning, you would want to keep your poetry to lines that have a natural lilt to them. Have a poem that you just haven’t been able to find a tune for but you know would make a great song? That’s probably a good choice!!
- Simply email the text of your poem to orders@beneverson.com to enter the contest. It does not need to be in a special format. Please include your name and general age category.
- If you are selected as a finalist, you will receive an email to the address from which you sent the text.
- The contest will end Tuesday, July 31, at 12:00 midnight EST.
