Freelancer wanted to write content for blogs/ websites (pay: AU$30-$35 per piece to start | Australia/ New Zealand only)

I’m currently looking for a reliable copywriter to create keyword-specific content for regular monthly blog posts and online articles for a range of clients.

BACKGROUND FOR THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY:

I am looking for a local writer who can deliver between two and four 350-word blog posts every month for a range of targeted niches in the Australian region (for example, local event management, boutique accommodation, or Australian wine/food) as well as periodic article rewrites for some of the posts (this will involve merely changing a couple of things to make the copy more generic and applicable for a wider audience).

I will supply the titles and topics for each set of blog posts and articles, and would expect some entertaining/conversational copy in return, focusing on practical advice and general information — no attributions/direct quotes would be necessary, and little research would be involved.

PAYMENT GUIDE:

I'm ideally looking to pay about AUD$30 - $35 per initial blog piece and another $10 or so for the rewrites (where applicable).

This is potentially an ongoing writing job, and I would expect that, once the successful bidder has done some cursory initial research on the topic/industry, that each post would only take a maximum of half an hour to complete for a proficient writer (therefore paid at a $60 per hour rate). On top of this, rewrites could probably be done in around five minutes or less.

Based on these estimates, I'm expecting to pay up to $140 for four blog posts and four associated rewrites, which would realistically equate to a couple of hours' easy work for a confident writer.

Going forward, I’d also usually be able to commission the copy several months in advance, so you could complete the work in one go or in smaller parts as suits your individual workflow (deadlines for each future commission would vary of course, but monthly writing could be commissioned up to 12 months in advance for the right person...).

Australian/NZ writers preferred, due to local nature of content.
